WCDHW welcomes new CEO at George Hospital

It is with great excitement that the department welcomes Mr Tshepo Kau as
the new CEO of George Hospital, starting 1 January 2025. 

“Congratulations on your new role as CEO of George Hospital,” says Acting
Chief Director for Rural Health Services, Ms Ronel Bezuidenhout. “Our
team is excited about your arrival and your contribution! On behalf of the
department and the Rural Health Services team, a very warm welcome!” 

Mr Kau is a seasoned healthcare management professional who has been
recognised for his role in leading and transforming healthcare facilities in
Gauteng, the Free State and KZN. His qualifications include a BA in Health
and Social Sciences, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management, and
an MBA with a specialisation in Healthcare Management. 

“I am thrilled to step into the role of CEO at George Regional Hospital,
renowned for its exceptional quality of care and dedicated team of
professionals,” says Mr Kau. “I am eager to inspire and lead a motivated,
high-performing team, introduce innovative processes for continuous
improvement, and support the hospital’s mission of delivering outstanding
patient care. With my enthusiasm and vision, I am confident we will elevate
George Regional Hospital to new levels of success.”
