Blasting on the N9 between George and Oudtshoorn

Notice of blasting activities on a section of the N9 (5KM) between George and Oudtshoorn 16 and 22 April 2026

As part of the construction activities on the N9 between Oudtshoorn and George, the Contractor will be required to conduct blasting operations to remove and extract rock for construction purposes.

Dates of next blasts: 16 and 22 April 2026
Nature of closure: Full road closure
Time of closure: 2pm to 5pm
Routes affected: Oudtshoorn to George / Uniondale to George
