Minister Mackenzie to join N1 Easter Exodus operation

On Thursday, 28 March 2024, Provincial Minister of Mobility, Ricardo Mackenzie, will join Provincial Traffic and other role players at an Easter ‘Exodus’ operation to emphasise road safety during the long weekend. The aim is to prevent crashes and ensure that everyone arrives safely at their destination.

This operation forms part of the Western Cape Government’s intensive efforts to keep residents and visitors safe on our roads during this busy holiday period. Officers will be checking vehicle and driver fitness, while reminding motorists to drive responsibly and follow the rules of the road.
