Media invite to launch of West Coast DSD mobile office

The media are invited to attend the launch of the Western Cape Department of Social Development’s (DSD) second mobile office on 28 November 2024.

The launch will take place in Elands Bay in the Cederberg Municipality. This office will serve the people of the West Coast, especially those living in rural areas where it is difficult to access DSD services.

The vehicle is a fully-equipped office on wheels, for staff to render professional services such as confidential interviews with clients in secure rooms. It is the second mobile office the Department will launch and not the last, as we will be unveiling another one on 02 December in the Witzenberg area.

Provincial Minister of Social Development Jaco Londt will be joined by various officials in the West Coast district for the launch in Elands Bay.
